Account Deletion Request

Request permanent deletion of your EarnVault account and associated data.

How to Request Account Deletion

EarnVault provides two ways to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the EarnVault mobile app
  2. Tap the Profile tab
  3. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm with your password and 2FA code (if enabled)

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to:

earnvault9@gmail.com

Include the email address registered with your EarnVault account. We will verify your identity before processing the request.

What Happens After You Request Deletion

  1. Grace Period (30 days): Your account is immediately deactivated. You can cancel the deletion within 30 days by logging back into the app.
  2. Permanent Deletion: After 30 days, your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted from our active systems.
  3. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Profile information (name, email, phone, photo)
  • Identity verification (KYC) documents and selfie
  • Wallet balances (after withdrawal of available funds)
  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Referral connections and team data
  • Device identifiers and login history
  • App preferences and settings

Data That Will Be Retained

For legal, regulatory, and security purposes, the following data is retained for the periods listed below in compliance with applicable laws:

  • Transaction records (7 years): Required by anti-money laundering (AML) and financial regulations.
  • KYC verification records (5 years): Required by Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
  • Fraud prevention data (2 years): Hashed device identifiers and IP records to prevent fraudulent re-registration.
  • Tax records (as required by jurisdiction): Withholding and reporting records where applicable.

Retained data is anonymized where possible and is not used for any purpose other than legal compliance.

Before You Delete

  • Withdraw any remaining wallet balances — these cannot be recovered after deletion.
  • Export any data you wish to keep using the in-app data export feature.
  • Account deletion cannot be reversed once the 30-day grace period ends.
